New Biostar TPower X79 Pictured

Today the taiwanese company Biostar showed me their new high end motherboard based on Intel X79 chipset. The TPower X79 will use the same color scheme than their previous motherboard based on P67/Z68 chipset with black PCB and RED/WHITE components.

The motherboard i’m showing you got the final PCB revision but the final heatsinck arent yet pluged on the TPower X79. We can see that the board use 2X2 DDR3 memory slots supporting quad channel DDR3 up to 2400Mhz, 7 SATA ports (6Gb/s and 3Gb/s) and certainly one or two more eSATA ports.

On the picture, we can also see that board have USB3 header connector and some more USB3 ports on the back panel. 3 PCie 16X, 2 PCIe 1X but also one old PCI slot is also present on the board

The TPower X79 will come with all power ON/OFF , reset , clear CMOS butons and debug LED. It has also 2 X 8 pins EATX12V connectors for more CPU power and one 12V IDE type power connector for more VGA power!

I hope we will see the final heatsinck design and bundle package soon , and that this motherboard will perform as good as her old sister the TPower X58
